Bison calves are born red in color, and some can weigh up to 70lbs. They are beautiful and cute, and they are often chased as a food source for predators. This past week I spent a couple of days on Lamar’s Valley in Yellowstone National Park where calves were being born. One of the most active predators was this lone wolf. He missed his catch on this day, but I am sure the circle continued
