A family who traveled many miles to avoid violence live as refugees in an IDP community just inside inside Myanmar. The Thai border is a place of amazing beauty and then there are the Karen people who were driven out of their homeland by their enemies in search of safety and freedom. Along the border, there are several small villages and hostels challenged to help. I visited several small camps in the last several weeks and am posting a few images. (Photo by Billy Weeks)
